Squid Sighting 001: Wonder Pets Episode 18 (Save the Wonder Pets!)
I woke up early today to retrieve something from the garage before the garbage truck came, so when I tried to get back to sleep and couldn’t, I turned on the T.V. Imagine my surprise when, flipping through the channels, I saw a squid in cartoon form!
It was on Nick Jr., so it was one of those shows where the characters repeat things to instill certain ideas in kids’ brains when they’re young. Wonder Pets is basically where these three animal superheroes go saving things, but in this episode, they themselves need to be saved from a giant whale that tried to eat them. Guess who saves them? A squid, of course!
First the squid makes the whale a delicious seaweed salad, then it tries to make it yawn, and then it tickles the whale until it finally regurgitates our now disgusting heroes. After the REAL hero has finished his work, a bunch of other sea animals come over saying “WE’RE HERE TO HELP!” Sorry bitches, Squid’s’ got it covered, gtfo kthxbai.
Squid was so awesome with his work, he was gone before I even got a chance to take a picture. What a guy!
